My Hero. My Father.

I recently ordered a hero bracelet because I remembered them from the Vietnam War when I was in high school. I was pleased to see that they were being made to honor and help our members of the armed forces. I recently lost my father, who was 91 and had served in World War II. It was with great pride in him and in our nation's troops, that I accepted the American flag at his funeral. My husband plans to make a box built with Dad's tools to keep the flag in.

I received my bracelet today. It is a black one in memory of a deceased. I will wear it and think of him and his family.
